Property Accountant
Rebecca Shell is a Property Accountant with Henssler Property Management, a provider of property management services to Henssler affiliates, Henssler Clients, and other real property owners. She has nearly three years of experience in accounting.
Ms. Shell is responsible for day-to-day accounting functions to produce monthly financial statements for the firm’s multifamily properties. She prepares financial statements, recording of typical accounting journal entries, and assists with accounts payable. Ms. Shell coordinates with community managers on monthly owner reports and special projects. Beginning at Henssler Property Management as an intern, Ms. Shell assisted with weekly bank reconciliation and preparing the weekly cash report for the multifamily properties.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Shell interned at Henssler CPAs & Advisers, an affiliate company. She also spent six years in the service industry, which included working as a bookkeeper for a restaurant, managing team members to ensure exceptional service during shifts, and building a large dynamic clientele.
Ms. Shell earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting at Kennesaw State University.
