Assistant Controller
Daniel Hester serves as the Assistant Controller for Henssler Property Management, a provider of property management services to Henssler Financial affiliates, Henssler Clients, and other real estate property owners. He brings more than 19 years of experience in property accounting to the firm.
As part of the property management accounting team, Mr. Hester supports the Controller in carrying out the responsibilities of internal accounting and supervises operations by managing the day-to-day activities of the property accountants. He serves as a liaison with banks to get new accounts set up and access granted to applicable employees.
Mr. Hester also reviews and facilitates month-end accounting for the Henssler Property Management properties, including reviewing fixed asset schedules, HUD reports, and property replacement reserve schedules. Additionally he manages the annual audits for Henssler Real Estate Fund II, Henssler Real Estate Fund III, and Legacy and Hampton properties.
Prior to joining Henssler Property Management, Mr. Hester spent more than five years at Hallmark Management, managing month-end processes and yearly audits for properties across the Southeast. He also spent three years as Controller for Harbor Management Inc.
Mr. Hester earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration — Finance from Morris Brown College.
