Regional Vice President
Dustin Chavis is a Regional Vice President with Henssler Property Management, a provider of property management services to Henssler affiliates, Henssler Clients, and other real property owners. He has more than eight years of experience in property management in the multi-family industry.
Mr. Chavis oversees Regional Directors and assists with property performance, financial management, policy implementation for the company, and managing acquisitions of incoming properties. He also supports Community Managers in growing their communities and managing their financials, and assists and monitors the development of company policies and procedures related to property management while abiding by current state and local laws.
Mr. Chavis was a Property Manager for Magnolia Preserve in Dothan, Ala., when Henssler Property Management purchased the apartment community. He was retained as the Community Manager for the property, and was promoted to Regional Director in March 2020, where he supervised more than 500 multi-family apartment units across Alabama and Georgia.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Chavis was a Community Manager and Regional Sales Trainer for a Top 50 Multi-Family Property Management Firm. He was responsible for managing budgets, operations, and administrative duties for a luxury apartment community and implementing training for all new hires and struggling communities.
Mr. Chavis earned his Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism and Marketing from Troy University. He is working toward becoming a Certified Apartment Manager (CAM®) and a Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS®).
